2024 WSPL - Year-End Tournament

By smoore 07/21/2024, 8:00pm PDT

The Year-End Tournament Schedule has been posted to the Wildlife Tournament Info page.  The divisions were determined by a bunch of factors; Regular Season Standings, Divisional Standings, Mid-Season Tournament and RF/RA.  If all teams return next year, this is most likely how the 2025 Regular Season divisions will look.

A couple reminders for the tournament:

  • Alcohol Consumption
    • We have a licensed beer garden and there will be a ZERO tolerance for alcohol on the grounds outside of the beer gardens.
    • It is not the Executive’s job to police the tournament.  If we are informed of problematic teams drinking outside of the beer gardens, we simply will not invite those teams to be part of the league next season. Please inform your team mates as we would hate for a few individuals to put your league position in jeopardy.
  • Award Ceremonies
    • For our new teams, we take a break half way through the Round-Robin schedule on Saturday to hold our award ceremonies in which we hand out Regular Season/Divisionals prizing & trophies.
  • Field Setup
    • Teams are responsible for setting up & putting away bases
      • If you are the last team putting the bases away, please make sure that the equipment shed is locked

Have fun and remember that we are only playing for t-shirts ;)

CMFA U20C Provincials - Request for Volunteers

By Chilliwack Minor Fastpitch 06/20/2023, 4:15pm PDT

Chilliwack Minor Fastpitch has a very exciting announcement! We will be hosting the U20C provincials this July 7 – 9! This means our local Chilliwack Force U20C Team will be playing against teams from all over B.C. for the chance to win a gold medal on their home field!

This is such an exciting opportunity for our association.  As an executive we have been working hard behind the scenes to plan this tournament.  The time has come to reach out to all members of our softball community and ask for some help.  We will need some volunteers for various things throughout the weekend.

We think this will be a great opportunity for anybody who loves the game to give back to our youth program and see some exciting fastpitch in our community.  If you have been wanting to get involved in a hands-on way in our association this is a great chance to come out and be part of a fun weekend of softball.

Please use the link below to sign up for anything you can help with.  The association will be very grateful for any help we can get.  Players from teams that are not playing are welcome to help as well.  If you have any questions or if the times on the volunteer sign up are not right for you, please reach out to the contact on the google doc and we can work together so you can help.

Bring the family to help cheer on the Chilliwack Force in their games while we work together to show all these out-of-town teams what Chilliwack is about!

Thank you in advance,

CMFA Board Members
